⚡ REACTION TIME TEST
Measure your true reaction speed across 9 advanced test modes. Audio cues, inhibition control, memory, precision, and more — compare against global benchmarks and find your rank.
| RANK | RANGE | PERCENTILE |
|---|
Competitive FPS players typically react in 200–230 ms
Most healthy adults react in 300–500 ms on visual tasks
Elite athletes have measured under 100 ms in ideal conditions
Add ~10–17 ms per display frame if your monitor is 60–100 Hz
⚡ CLASSIC MODE
Wait for the arena to flash green, then click as fast as possible. Do not click during the red waiting phase — early clicks add a 100 ms penalty. Best for measuring raw visual reaction speed.
🔊 AUDIO REACT
The screen stays dark — no visual cue. React purely to the beep sound. Auditory reaction is typically 20–40 ms faster than visual. Use headphones for best accuracy. Close your eyes and focus on the sound.
🚦 GO / NO-GO
A signal flashes either GREEN (GO) or RED (STOP). Click only on GREEN. Clicking RED adds a heavy 300 ms penalty. Tests inhibitory control — the ability to suppress impulsive reactions. Harder than it looks.
🎨 COLOR MATCH
A random color is shown on top. Click the matching swatch below. Tests both reaction speed AND color discrimination. Wrong clicks add a 150 ms penalty. Great for decision-making training.
🔢 NUMBER HIT
A random digit (1–9) is displayed. Hit the correct button below. Tests working memory + motor response. Incorrect selections add 200 ms to your round time.
🧠 MEMORY FLASH
A symbol flashes briefly (400 ms) then disappears. Identify it from 4 choices. Tests visual working memory + recognition reaction. The faster you answer correctly, the better your score. Wrong answers add 250 ms.
🔀 SEQUENCE MODE
Numbered targets appear on a grid and must be clicked in ascending order (1 → 2 → 3 → …). Wrong-order clicks reset the chain. Measures cognitive processing + sequential reaction.
🔨 WHACK-A-MOLE
Targets pop up randomly in a 3×3 grid — hit them before they disappear! Bombs (red) appear too: click them and lose points. Score is hits minus misses. Great for sustained hand-eye coordination training.
🎯 PRECISION MODE
A target appears at a random position. Click it before it disappears. Smaller targets = higher difficulty. Tests spatial awareness and hand-eye coordination.
💡 IMPROVEMENT TIPS
Relax your hand before starting. Use your index finger. Ensure your display refresh rate is high (144 Hz+). Consistent lighting reduces visual lag. Short sessions daily outperform long marathons. Audio mode trains neural speed — try it with eyes closed.
